as of lately...

Things have been going good here in Rocklin. (Yes, I'm still in Rocklin. Ha! Just can't get out of here) I have been busy with work, making new friends, and spending time with family. GREAT NEWS: I got a new job! doing hair! I am working at Supercuts in Roseville and I am loving it! I got hired about a month ago and its been going splendid. I had a week of training in Sacramento and learned so many cool, new, fast tricks to be very efficient at cutting hair. I really like all the girls I work with (which I was so nervous about) and its a great location with a lot of clients coming in. I have also have still been doing hair jobs on the side; weddings, hair color etc. I am making good $$$$$$. MORE GREAT NEWS: I am finishing up my papers to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Yep, thats right, I'll be the first Sister Byers. I am very excited and so grateful for the opportunity that I am going to have to be able to serve. So the new job has been working out to be able to save up for the mission. Stay tuned to find out where I will be called to serve.

This is my new friend Josh. We took the train to San Francisco for a fun date. It was a beautiful day, I had alot of fun..even if we got on the wrong train once or twice. haha oops!
