This is something I have been wanting to try making for a while now. I have seen them around and think they are so cute. So since Lauren had her birthday today I figured I would give it a try and see what I could put together...
I grabbed some scrap fabric that we had in the closet and cut them all out to be the same triangle shape.
Then I used some twine that we had in the ribbon box and sewed it all together. It was really easy and finished it within a couple hours. It turned out great and Lauren loved it! Mission accomplished !
I hung them up outside in the umbrellas to make it all look more festive for the birthday BBQ.
On a side note I would like to tell you all about my cute little sister Lauren... she is a little stinker! I love her to death ;) I am so blessed to have her in my life. Even though she is my younger sister, I still learn so much from her. I am spoiled to be the middle daughter because I get to learn from my older sister AND my younger sister. Both have so much to offer. Lauren and I always have a blast together! Ever since Danielle has been out of the house and married Lauren and I have had more one on one time together. Our favorite activity to do is play JUST DANCE on the Wii. It is so much fun! I love to go shopping with her, because she is good at keeping me from spending too much. ha! She has always been able to make me laugh. Her and I love to go out and drive places together and blast the music. We sing at the top of our lungs and then just look at each other and laugh :) I can't imagine my life without her. She is a sweetheart and I am so thankful to have her in my life. It's crazy to think that she is finally 18! whoo-hoo! Happy Happy Birthday! Love you sis!
