Then on Wednesday morning Lauren (she stayed with me for the week at my apartment) and I went to meet up with Ma and Pa at the hotel to get the continental breakfast. Then did some more Christmas shopping and I had to go to work. So they kept themselves busy for the day and then that night we all went to a place called J.Dawgs for dinner... It's a place where they serve just hot dogs and they have some specail sauce they put on them, it's bomb! On Thursday we went and drove up to Provo Canyon and showed them Bridal Veil Falls.
We took a nice drive up to Park City and walked around downtown. There was a lot of snow there so we had fun throwing snow balls :) then we headed back to Provo and took a nap then started the big dinner. I made the turkey in the crockpot so it was ready to go. Then I made dip, mashed potatoes, rolls, green beans, stuffing (Sam actually helped out and made that) and gravy. It was a really yummy meal! We had it at Sams apartment because his kitchen is so much bigger then mine.
(And yes, we used paper plates haha very simple, but very yummy)
It turned out great an I had a good time cooking for them. I think they had fun watching me cool for them. It Gave mom a good break this year :) then for dessert we had apple pie. So so good! It was so sad to see them leave and have to say goodbye but it's good that I get to see them in a few weeks and go home for Christmas! Hope you all had a good thanksgiving weekend and got some good shopping in! ;) (Sam and I bought the new GoPro Hero from Best Buy at a really good price, and I am so excited to use it and make some cool videos of our adventures out here! Movies soon to come!)
This is some of Sam's nieces and nephews. His mom and I were sending pictures back an forth of the family activities during the week. They all got Christmas pajamas and had a sleep over with grandma and grandpa. Aren't they the cutest!?
