Surprise Date Night

Sam and Kyle were romantic this weekend and planned a surprise double date for me and Hailey. They didn't tell us what we were gonna be doing just that it would be outside so we would need to dress warm (considering the fact that we live in the freezing cold state of Utah) And I asked if it called for the GoPro (I've been dying to use it again and play around with it) Being a guy he didn't really know, so I figured Ah, what the heck! Im just gonna bring it! Good thing I did! So we all got in the car and drove up the canyon... along the way she and I were guessing about where they were taking us. It was kinda fun to guess haha Sam said...it is the closest you will ever come to being just like Superman. We kept guessing flying ideas at the point-- sky diving, hot air balloon, ski lift rides, etc. I personally don't know the Superman story very well so I was kinda in the dark on that one. But eventually we got there and it was so cool to pull up and see! It is a giant man made ice castle! We got inside and started to explore! Besides the fact that our feet were getting pretty cold, it was way cool to look around and walk through all the different hallways and crevices. The movie isn't the most exciting thing ever, but it just gives you a look at what it would be like to be Superman and live in ice castle!
